Experimental Book

Brainstorming is part of every designer’s daily life. This project highlights a single chapter from The Universal Traveler: A Soft-Systems Guide to Creativity, Problem-Solving, and the Process of Reaching Goals by Don Koberg and Jim Bagnall. The book outlines a variety of methods for beginning and sustaining a brainstorming process to uncover creative solutions.

In my reinterpretation of this chapter, I created a dial that you can spin to determine the next action to take during a brainstorming session. The result is simple but powerful: no two sessions unfold the same way.
